What is pelvic health physical therapy?
Pelvic health PT is a specialized area of PT that focuses on the bones, muscles, ligaments, and nerves of the pelvic region. Pelvic health PT can help with bladder, bowel and sexual dysfunctions as well as pelvic pain concerns.

What conditions do you treat?
Anything that relates to the pelvis: bladder, bowel and sexual dysfunctions, pain diagnoses. These include: urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence, urinary urgency and frequency, overactive bladder (OAB), painful bladder syndrome (or interstitial cystitis), constipation, dyspareunia (painful sex), pelvic pain, tailbone pain, pelvic organ prolapse, diastasis recti, post-abdominal or post-gynecological surgeries, prenatal and postnatal pain, and many more. Do I have to have an internal pelvic exam?
No! Internal pelvic exams are only completed with enthusiastic consent from you. While an internal pelvic exam can provide important information to your case, there is still plenty that can be addressed without the need for a pelvic exam if you are not comfortable.

Do I need a referral from my Doctor?
Ohio is a direct access state meaning that you can go to physical therapy without a referral.

What insurances do you accept?
Embrace Physical Therapy & Wellness is an out of network provider with ALL insurances. This allows for full 60 minute appointments that are 1:1 with a PT and prevents insurance dictating the level of care that you receive.

What forms of payment do you accept?
All forms of payment are accepted including cash, check, and credit card (no processing fees are passed on to you). Additionally, HSA and FSA are accepted. Payment is due at the time of service.
